I always wanted to draw a landscape of my world Terra Aluvis that reminds of old chinese paintings. after having visited a chinese gallery today and watched two books full of old chinese paintings I could not resist but give it a try myself. no large brushes like the old chinese masters used though, just the standard round photoshop brush + my own self drawn brushes. I love the way it turned out, even if it still sketchy - especially in the size that is needed to read the quotation. probably there will be more paintings in that style in my gallery some day and yeah at some later point I will probably draw myself some brushes that fit better into the chinese style, so one does not see the single strokes this clearly like here. well it's just the first piece in such a style, so i guess it's okay. I will probably work over it and polish it here and there when I decide to do another drawing of that series.
aaaand of course a "wise quotation" could not be missing! well done, Jerome, I love your thoughts!
