LONG INFO:

This is an isle, that Sacris is going to discover during his expedition through the unexplored lands of Terra Aluvis. From the outside it looks like a completely normal little island. But when you enter it, you step through a magical curtain, that reveals a most mysterious phenomenon: the sky is 'torn'. and what is shown beyond that terrifies all members of the expedition - only Sacris is fascinated, as he has seen space himself already (and since then he has sworn to find a way to reach the stars by own means one day). he wants to study this isle and find more about its mystery. why is the sky torn? what caused it? WHO caused it? why is this not visible from outside the isle? what exactly is the 'sky window' showing? and is it a mere projection ... or a portal?

Sorry for the sketchy quality :') I love auroras <3 and it's far more difficult to draw them than I have expected. I''m afraid, I'll need more practice in drawing them, to make them actually look good XD
But the idea is conveyed quite clearly anyway, I guess
and by the way: this whole scene and the island with everything about it (especially that super dramatic lighting!) was a most vivid dream I had in a night ... one year ago (damn, it took me long to finish this, haha X'D). I woke up from it and was totally flashed from its awesomeness for the next whole week xD and later I was so frustrated as I simply failed at portraying the sheer overwhelming size of the universe through the torn sky - I guess that explains why I put it aside unfinished! however, it might not catch the awesomeness of being in Sacris' body and stepping yourself on the island (aside from the fact that I'd definitely have better things to do when already being in Sacris' body than stepping onto some strange island in the middle of nowhere! XD *Jerome, where are you~?*), but I like it anyway

I hope you like the concept/scene too!
(and maybe I'll elaborate this drawing more one day, once I've improved in drawing landscapes and celestial phenomenons)
