Chimera – Alone in the Mass
Do you know that feeling?
It's enough to differ in convictions from mainstream, so others don't see one of their kind in you anymore.
How much you try to become one of them – you will never be. The only thing you gain is that you lose your true form and are completely lost in this nothingness. Neither accepted by them nor by yourself.
"Where do I belong ...?", you ask into the shadows.
"Save me ...!", you cry into the dark.
"I have changed so much and still you don't love me ...?"
But they remain silent. Turned away from this living perversion of an individual that is trying so desperately to become one of them.
Clear your view. Are they really better? Do YOU really want to become one of THEM – one of those mindless, media driven, walking corpses?
You are beautiful the way you are. With your individual character. With your special weaknesses and strengths. Go your way. And one day you will find someone who sees you and looks through the surface to you – and smiles.
Because he loves you the way you are.
So stay strong. Don't give up.

You already know that your art is beautiful, so I wont' go over that. What I do find lovely here is the message. I mean, the char is so beautiful in their own unique way, the expression on their face - s/he strikes me as a teenager going through the uncertainty of their age, trying to understand who they are, what they will be, struggling to fit in and still be who they truly are - that person they used to know before things began to change. The conflict is written all over this little one's face - and s/he pulls at the heartstrings.
