Devoured Light

Here you have once again presented us with a master piece of story telling. Your ability to tell a full and rich story with one picture is incredible. The characters are wonderful. I love that they both embody their elements of light and dark so completely. Vision: This is something that there is a story behind. It is clear that you put a great deal of thought behind the creation of this work. Originality: The idea of the darkness seducing the light is not a new concept. That being said, I think that you have captured this idea in a fairly original way. While the characters are clearly of the light and the darkness, they are not presented in a stereotypical fashion. I admire your ability to make their allegiances so clear without falling into the trap of older visions. Technique: This is a beautiful piece. I think it was wonderfully executed. The one thing is that the arms of the being of light do not seem in proper proportion. This is not something that I think destroys the piece, but it did distract me from the work's entirety. Impact: This piece screams at me. I can feel the pain of the light and the longing of the dark. It is a wonderful piece!
