This is a storyline illustration for my fantasy story Terra Aluvis. No references used.
It shows my main character Sacris, the King of Mankind, after an ambush in
the night streets of Lun. In the front you see another main character
from my story Jerome.

This drawing actually developed from the idea of Sacris' glance. As most of my spontaneous drawings this scene is not written yet.
However, I tried out a new lighting technique to find a compromise between a
"semi-realistic" night vision (where you wouldn't see Sacris' face at
all) and a "manga" night vision where you usually see everything out of
which reason ever.
As much as I love sticking to realistic lighting,
as much I do regret when I have to leave out such important details like
clear facial expressions. Well let's explain it simply with the fact
that Jerome possesses a magic night vision. So we kind of see darkness a
bit brighter as he does now - and especially Sacris' face, since Jerome
concentrates on it.
