I wonder, where this 'badass Sacris' comes from all of the sudden x.x
Maybe a reaction to my own mood (see last artwork I know, I'm ugly ...), so Sacris tries to give me a 'get going already'-kick of his own?
Maybe simply too much new retro wave and industrial music.
Maybe both.
but hey, it works! x'D I mean, I feel a bit awkward listening (with my 26 years) to super old-school synthie sounds all day and all night these days as well as I feel very much assaulted by Sacris' all-of-the-sudden-into-your-face confidence, but at least I do so with a grin

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactExcellent piece, indeed. First of all, the minimal use of bright color (the red) really makes Sacris stand out amidst all the greys and (mostly) blacks. The red eyes are the most striking feature in this piece--this guy looks as though he means business, and if you think he DOESN'T, then there's something seriously wrong with you! The details on the cords and "breathing apparatus" (for lack of better words), are well executed. I also love the simple tagline: "Fight. Live." Even if you don't know the character or his story, I think the viewer can tell this is a hardcore setting, with a hardcore character. It may make one wonder: Why must he fight? Who/what is he fighting for? How high are the stakes? Many things can go through the viewer's mind upon analyzing this portrait.
I'm certainly curious as to what the circumstances are behind this intense painting. But overall, the piece is simple, but by no means poorly executed. As I said, it's hardcore.
