How I bargain Commission Prices (feat. Cat Diva) by Van-Syl-Production How I bargain Commission Prices (feat. Cat Diva) by Van-Syl-Production
.. that's at least what my boyfriend :iconbigeagly: believes (he's never seen how I do that) :D
It was funny enough that I thought I might give it a little manga strip ;)

For those of you who think now the worst of me: just ask those who have already commissioned me, if it's really that way ;D

And my epic cat (one of two) is there again! She's a great help when it comes to negotiations ;p
Queen Plusheness forever! *_*
(and Sacris x Jerome forever ... //>_>)

EDIT: Did you like the drawing on the screen? ;p Go here to see it finished: More and More by Van-Syl-Production

Enjoy and share thoughts! ;)

I am open for commissions!

i didn't had that exceptionally dirty grinning in my mind as i talked about that concept idea but it's funny to see what grows out of theese
by the way, the cat is really like that, if some of you thought it is caricatured too

Lovely thing to see first thing in the morning - yaoi, comedy and a kitty.  My brain wanted to do all three things, but the kitty and the yaoi won (its only 5:55 here and no coffee yet).  And easy to look at.

I always saw it as a much more harrowing process - something more along the lines of 'Terror from the Crypt' with the commissioner as devil and the artist really needing the money and having to sign the contract, with a 'Mwahahahaha! Now you're time is mine!" laugh by the commissioner in the end because until you finish to their satisfaction, you're stuck (and I've know some pretty shitty commissioners).

*gg* Isn't it quite refreshing then to see it "from the other perspective"? ;D
Sure, the artist needs money, but he doesn't have to sell his soul for every piece of crap :D
I think, it is important to keep some pride as artist. We are no low-level dogs but rather something unique like a "medium/mediator" between our world and the world of fantasy. No one has exactly your view of things and no one exactly your style to express it. That's what makes us special and fragile in the same moment.

No gonna lie...I was mostly distracted by the picture on the screen :XD:

*grin* You see, that's the ultimate check if one likes yaoi or not xD
I already thought about insertig there some "parallel plot" on that screen but I thought: "no one will look at that screen anyway." well, seems I was wrong xD

Ah that's what I was waiting for! :XD:

I kept glancing back for naught then ._.

It was still an entertaining comic though :D

No you weren't ;) I'm thinking about drawing that screen as "real" sketch of Sacris and Jerome maybe ...

Thanks ;3
