This drawing is my first approach to try something very special: to catch the pure spirit of the innermost connection between my beloved characters Sacris and Jerome in its complexity and entirety. a deep connection of love, care and understanding on all levels - body, mind and soul.
This drawing had to be.
And I am really glad, I was finally emotionally able to finish this piece, as it was of most importance to me (and my characters) since the moment I sketched it out ages ago.
but to be able to work this, it was critically neccessary, that Sacris, Jerome and me - each of us had to be in inner balance as well as the relationships between all of us had to be harmonic/ loving/ caring too. it sounds easier than it is. except for me constantly fighting to reach/keep inner balance and harmony, it is mostly Sacris or Jerome who have their own problems that need to be solved and strain their relationship.

Concerning the drawing process itself:
The anatomy/drawing the characters was sort of a nightmare, since always something didn't work out/seem right (and I could swear, there are STILL some mistakes in anatomy left! >_< *grrr!*). buuuut all the awesome stars and nebulae were so much fun to draw, they completely made up for it <3 *I definitely should draw space stuff more often!*
