S.O.S. - Outcast Sector by Van-Syl-Production S.O.S. - Outcast Sector by Van-Syl-Production
Full view please! (The details in the flying adds etc. took forever, so give them a glimpse at least ;))
-----------

Alright, this is some kind of sequel drawing of this scene: S.O.S. - Rock Bottom by Van-Syl-Production
The man with the dark hair from that drawing, Seeren, goes through the Lower City – the so called "Outcast Sector".
When you look at the drawing "Rock Bottom" I linked to above, you will see: the buildings of that bright main street there go very deep. And at the bottom of the city you find this place. Here is no healthy life possible. Dirt and poisonous gas are everywhere (notice the dog in the front). Daylight never reaches these streets hidden behind the promise of wealth and prosperity. Neither does the bright neon light from the Upper City. The Outcast Sector is dyed in eternal twilight – neither day nor night. No morality, no regrets. So that is where all those people end who belong to the lower class of the society from S.O.S., which means "State of Security – Safety and Equality since 2042".

As I need a little break from my main fantasy project Terra Aluvis, I am convinced more drawings of this dytopic world will appear soon. This genre is quite unusual for me, but why not broaden one's mind?
And it is a good exercise for me to get a little bit more into constructing city landscapes and playing with perspective.
I hope you like it ;)

Looks like the kind of place you only visit with a loaded shotgun! The dog in the foreground really creeps me out! Props for a very cyberpunkish artwork!

The detail of the city itself is hypnotic long before I even get to the characters.  The female seems more of a prop, but that's understandable at this point, because the attention is drawn to the serious character - the male.  He is where there looks like the main story resides - both his expression and his dress - those shorts don't look 'regional'.

As far as his name - I suppose that depends on his story.  He looks between worlds and the name Siller comes to mind - like between Scylla and Charybdus in Greek mythology - between a rock and a hard place.

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback =)
I highly appreciate it!

Your interpretation is very interesting^^
Just maybe one correction: the person talking to the main character is actually male =) But as he is supposed to be rather androgynous it's okay one cannot say exactly whether it's a man or woman.

Yeah, the name ... 'Scylla' doesn't sound right to me ...
It is strange. Usually I find names very quickly. Interesting I have such problems with this one. Until I decide how his call name is, his "name" will stay his ID: 076-BA-981

That the person is male but androgynous is even better.  That just makes the story line in the pic more interesting - at least to me.

And I understand about the name.  It takes me forever to name my own chars - they tend to name themselves, even when I don't like them.  I'm not great at naming ANY one to be honest.

I'm glad you like that fact^^
I prefer m/m couple constellation in general (you might have already noticed looking through my gallery)

I thought about the name again ... I like the sound of the english pronounciation of "Seeren" (See-ran, right?) for him soimehow. I guess, I'll take that one.

Btw in my story the names are pronounciated in different languages: some are english, some german, some french, some polish, some latin. Fortunately it doesn't matter when writing the names^^
